Elise G. Mercado is the Vice President of Administration for The Executive Committee (TEC) Florida located in Jacksonville. Elise has a staff of six incredible, top-notch employees in the Jacksonville office for which she is responsible for. The TEC Florida Office is "back office" support for the 37 Chairman and 600+ Members who make up TEC Florida. The office supports all activities including membership correspondence, meeting activities (including the booking of resource speakers and CD reproduction), Group Build activities and planning and implementation of the TEC Florida Annual Conference.

Elise joined TEC Florida in 1995, shortly after Charles "Red" Scott purchased the company, as a temporary employee. She worked her way up through the ranks mastering each position in the office. After a short sabbatical at another company, in 2001 Elise came back to TEC in her current position.

Prior to working for TEC Florida, Elise worked for her father's insurance consulting firm in Upstate New York. She started typing file folders (in a one person office) and 9 years later, left as a Vice President with 10 staff.

Elise holds a B.A., majoring in Psychology, from the State University of New York - Institute of Technology. Elise is the sister of Brent Hunter.
